The course objective is to examine Restorative Justice as a theological issue. By engaging M.Div. and MACE candidates in the contextual application of the concept of prison ministry as a way of addressing crime and restorative justice in America especially in the African American community. Restorative Justice is concerned with providing hope and restoring right relationships in response to victimization, incarceration and reentry into the community.
