IBSL 571/Lecture/01 - Contemp Afrocent Biblical Interpretation | Credits 3.00
This course is designed to familiarize students with the variety of approaches to exploring scripture currently being utilized by Black biblical scholars on the continent and in the US. Attention will be given to the varied methods used in their exegetical work, along with their ideological concerns and leanings. Issues of womanist interpretation along with Afrocentric male interpretations will be explored and analyzed.
